If you follow my blog you can always tell when the warm sunshine has arrived because posts get infrequent. The outside starts calling my name and I can't resist. We spent the majority of our long weekend doing just that, outside playing in the garden, having fires with roasted hotdogs and s'mores. When our bodies needed a break from yard work we drank Springtime Lemonade.
Last week on our hunt for the perfect home for the boys this church conversion was on the list.

The Basement was a cozy spot.
I'm pretty sure your guests would never want to leave the guest house.
It was complete with kitchen bath and living area not to mention this sweet little bedroom.
There where also trails through a small cedar grove and a pool to lounge by.
I think I've gotten quite a few ideas from the houses that we toured for my own home. Unfortunately for Roger it might require some weekend building. :)

Amazing! Where is this? Did this comment show up already :)
ReplyDeleteIt's in the Mt. Forest area. I left a link at the end to see more pics!
Deleteoh, my! absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt really was. When I looked thru my pictures I realized I hadn't taken enough, I was too busy walking around looking at everything.:)
DeleteOh my word, these amazing houses could easily be rounded up and put in a book on elegant, classic decor. They're so, so breathtaking and each you've been sharing with us makes me think about what I'd want in my own dream home, as some of those very things are reflected in these old school abodes. Please keep on posting more, if you visit them. I'll eagerly lap them up like a kitty with a saucer of milk! :)
ReplyDeleteBig hugs & many sincere thanks for sharing some of the changes that you hope/plan to implement in your own life this year with me.

We were pretty fortunate to see the cream of the crop. The unfortunate thing is made me want to come home sell all my furniture and start over. Haha.
DeleteIt is my dream to live in an old school house one day. I love love love them!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be great! I love these conversions, so much more character then even old houses.
DeleteHow stunning is this house?! I never even thought I particularly liked orange, but yet now have a burning desire to paint it everywhere... CC x
ReplyDeleteI know! Pictures can't describe how utterly beautiful this house was. The orange gave it such a warm cozy feel that the space didn't at all feel that large.
